Care

Lip Blush Precare
  • Using Aquaphor all day and when sleeping is strongly recommended at least one week before your appointment. (Dry scabs on your lips won't take pigment.) Sugar scrub care as necessary.

  • Refrain from alcohol consumption 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Refrain from suntanning, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, laser treatment, or chemical peels 6 weeks before service.

  • Avoid Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Fish oil 2 days before your appointment.

  • If you have a history of Herpes or a cold sore, please get in touch with your dr. for a proper prescription before the procedure. You can start the medication 3 days prior. (However, some ladies who have never been aware of this before might be prone to having the symptom.) Over-the-counter medication will help.

  • Avoid Caffeine 24 hours before the procedure.

  • If you have a history of cold sore, take an antiviral medication as prescribed by your doctor. You can take it 3-4 days before the procedure and 3-5 days after. You can also take L-lysine 2 weeks before and after procedure to reduce the risk of an outbreak.

Eyebrows/Eyeliner Precare
  • You must be 18 years or older.

  • Clients cannot be pregnant or nursing.

  • A postpartum waiting period of 3-6 months after delivery or nursing is required to consider infection risk and hormonal changes.

  • Indicate medications or disease. Individuals with certain medical conditions or devices (e.g., heart conditions, pacemakers, high blood sugar) may not be eligible for services.

  • Dr's pre-authorization is required (e.g., diabetes II, auto-immune, HBP, cancer)

  • Certain medications can ease bleeding, menopause, or thyroid conditions and may encounter challenges with pigment retention.

  • Please wear your normal make-up to your appointment. If you have an eyeliner permanent makeup procedure, do not wear eye makeup, including mascara or eye shadows.

  • Please avoid drinking coffee or tea that contains caffeine 1 day before your appointment. No heavy alcohol 1 day before your procedure and on the procedure day.

  • Any tweezing or waxing should be done at least 2weeks before the procedure.

  • Any eyelash or eyebrow tinting or eyelash curling should be done no 2 weeks before or 4 weeks after your treatment.

  • Avoid using Vitamin A derivatives, such as supplements, Retin-A, Tretinoin, and Retinol, which must be paused at least 30 days before. Omega-3 fatty acids and other blood thinners must be avoided within 48 hours of service, and Accutane users must pause for at least 6 months before.

  • Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following the eyeliner procedure.

  • Remember to bring your sunglasses.
